World Mental Health Day 2018


It’s okay to have bad days.

It’s okay to do what’s the best for you.  

It’s okay if you don’t know what to feel, if you can’t work out what you want.

It’s okay to cry.

It’s okay if today is not the day.

It’s okay to make mistakes, change your mind.  

It’s okay to remove toxic people, friendships, relationships from your life.

It’s okay if all you did today was survive.

It’s okay to cancel if you no longer feel up to it.

It’s okay to grow slow.

It’s okay to cry at 3 in the morning, aching and screaming.

It’s okay if you don’t want to leave your bedroom today.

It’s okay to leave people you once loved behind.

It’s okay if your don’t get up to anything exciting this weekend.

It’s okay if you fall down and lose your spark. Just make sure that when you get back up, you rise with fire.

It’s okay to not answer that call.

It’s okay if you want to spend some days alone.

It’s okay to reach out and tell somebody you’re not feeling okay.

It’s okay to say no to things that you know are going to make you worse.

It’s okay to not be perfect.

It’s okay if you haven’t get your whole life figured out yet.

It’s okay to have some days off. You look after you.

It’s okay to show your feelings. You cry your heart out.

It’s okay to have good days.

It’s okay to have a lot of good days.

It’s okay to be selfish and put yourself first.

It’s okay to do things that nobody else would understand.

It’s okay to be scared.

It’s okay to stay in your pjs all day, if that’s what you want to do.

It’s okay if all your feelings come at once.

It’s okay to go to bed at 6pm.

It’s okay to have a lazy day and not feel guilty.

It’s okay to listen to that song that you know will make you cry.  

It’s okay if the worst place to be is inside your own head.

It’s okay to be exhausted. Life can be pretty tough.

It’s okay to stand up and ask for help.

It’s okay to be completely yourself.

It’s okay because this is your life, your body, your mind.

It’s okay to not be okay.

But that’s okay everything will be okay in the end.
If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.
